‘Presenteeism’ is the HR buzz word describing this behaviour and if you’ve ever felt guilty or reluctant to take a sick day, the following survey results may reassure you that looking after your health is in everyone’s best interest.

The answer is easy – it is all about achieving a healthy work-life balance. Those who manage their health and well-being perform better at work – they are less prone to injury, more productive and have higher levels of motivation.
If you are unwell or injured, take the time to fully recover. Coming back to work prematurely can be the worse thing, with a relapse being even more severe.
