Soak it up

At times it seems the only way to get the little ones to wear a hat outside is to staple it on. But they do follow your example, so be sure to have a hat on when out and about in the summer sun.

Get little one to wear a hatAlmost as frustrating is getting sun block applied evenly with a minimum of fuss. Selina Broun, a Perth-based Senior Geologist, has a handy trick to get the job done easily. Simply squirt some sun block into a snap-lock sandwich bag and then dip a clean sponge in. Wiping it on your kid’s face is much easier than trying to rub it in with greasy hands. No mess, no fuss.
